Sonny Terry was born on October 24, 1911 in Greensboro, Georgia. He remembers his dad playing his harmonica after a long day in the fields. Terry would pick the harp up while his dad was out and mess around on it. That was the beginning for Terry. He had two separate accidents that left him blind by age 16. He ended up playing with Blind Boy Fuller for many years, and then he played his own shows. He went on to perform across the country and around the world. Our DVD video covers 1958 - 1974. You will see rare footage of performances from the early years. You will learn about the life of Sonny Terry through friends and family. There is a wonderful booklet included that tells his life story. After watching this DVD video you will be a Sonny Terry fan, too!

The total running time of this DVD video is fifty-five minutes.
