Item number 1702477JF, $12.95, 88 pages

She was a star that burned oh so bright, but just for a short amount of time. Although relatively young, she had a voice that contained the pain, emotion, and life of someone much older. She could definitely sing the blues! She was Janis Joplin, and this is her music.

This folio presents 16 of Janis Joplin's classic hits in arrangements for piano with vocal and optional guitar chords.

Product Format: Piano/Vocal/Guitar

Franz Schubert - Original Compositions Volume III
Franz Schubert - Original Compositions Volume III
Item number 1701619JF, $17.95, 91 pages

Austrian composer Franz Schubert composed these selections taken from many of his extended works and transcribed for one piano/four hands. These piano duets include the "Quatre Polonaise" with it's four different movements written in four different key signatures. This famous piece was written as a celebration of a stately form of Polish dance that was usually in triple time and contained an often repetitive rhythmic underlying melody. This piece, as well as the remaining music in this folio, is a joy to perform!

Arranged for one piano, four hands.

Maurice Ravel - Jeux D'eau
Maurice Ravel - Jeux D eau
Item number 1701579JF, $8.95, 13 pages

Generally considered the greatest French composer since Debussy, Ravel combined skill in orchestration with meticulous technical command of harmonic resources. He was a great admirer of Debussy's music and could hardly avoid being influenced by him, although he eventually developed a style of his own which the critics often described as cold blooded and artificial. Of his more important works, "Jeux D'Eau" (Dancing Waters), written for solo piano, is one of the pieces that is most prevalent to musical historians. It is a technically demanding masterpiece from this 20th century master, well worth the effort from a solo pianist.
