The "Scale Syllabus" is intended for all levels of instrumentalists and vocalists. You can hear David Liebman solo over every scale listed in the syllabus. He solos on two versions of each scale. The first is slow and simple, and the second is more complex and fast. Stereo separation allows you to practice and improvise too, with David Liebman on one channel and Jamey Aebersold on the other. The "Scale Syllabus" is one of the most critical tools in the modern jazz student's arsenal. The scales and chords in this 1982 release have become commonplace in contemporary jazz.
