Although this piece is transcribed for piano duet, Mozart composed "Piano Concerto No. 15 in B Flat Major" with solo piano and orchestra originally in mind. Mozart always believed the piano to be a foundational instrument, and the publishers of this folio took that in mind when this piece was transcribed for two pianos/four hands.
